An innovative charge management strategy can be implemented via ?intelligent? charging stations that can be operated bidirectionally. The vehicle optimizes the time point of battery charging based on driver inputs (such as ?Start time of next drive? and ?Desired electric driving range?). I have lots of experience and I will tell you this; penny stocks are not fruitful investments.

The thing you have to remember is, it is not the value of the share that counts, but the % of gain.

For example; if I invest in a company at .50c a share, an amount of $ 1000, or if I invest in a company that is $ 1000 a share for the same amount, a 2% gain is 2%. I?ve made the same amount of money despite the fact that I?ve got 2000 shares with the penny stock vs. 1 share of the blue chip stock.

The other thing you have to consider is the bid/ask spread. I can?t go into lengthy detail about stocks, but I will tell you that the bid and ask spread for pennies are higher than their blue chip counterparts.

If you want to take a total gamble, I could recommend Vana Blue (VBLU) because they?ve gone from pennies, to $ 200,000/share, to pennies, back to $ 200,000.

You can make a lot of money playing penny stocks. You can also lose a lot of money in penny stocks. I have done both. You typically have to time everything just right. If you wait too long to sell, everyone else that is playing the game sells and the value tanks. If you buy ?on the upswing? it?s typically too late.

You should check out some of the pennystock investing sites, usually they send out one or two good picks every three months?you really have to watch to see what?s the trend.

Sure you can. I have a trading strategy that has returned 159% per year for the last ten years (see the results here: http://www.stocklocater.com/results.html).

I use only stocks priced .25 to .55, although anything under $ 2 is considered a penny stock by many brokerages.

I have used the same criteria for stock selection on stocks priced $ 1 to $ 2 but the gains were only half as good.

Now I do use 3-4 penny stocks at a time to add diversification because these can be pretty volatile and the last thing you want is to invest in one stock and have it lose 50% or more. So spread the risk around with penny stocks.

I would best describe pennystocks as a party. When word goes around that a certain stock is is going to be the ?popular? place to be . . . it shoots. Some penny?s shoot so high you can get rich in literally minutes . . . The problem is that by the time most people hear about the ?party?. Everyone has had their fun and are now leaving and moving on.

Great tip here. Pennys are very volatile, very dangerous, but have huge profitability. Never create a portfolio of pure penny?s. For example, my current holdings are Ford, Sprint, SixFlags, Citigroup along with 5-6 pennystocks.

Be sure to diversify your penny stocks, especially when starting out. Pennys tend to shoot erratically and rely very much on Press Releases. I recommend finding a good chatroom to hear what stocks are being talked about or ?pumped? . Not all pumped stocks are bad . . . but people tend to pump stocks when they are desperate to make money out of them. Formulate a list of about 20 ? 40 penny stocks and look into them, investigate ( called DD , or due dilligence . . . means dont blindly buy anything you are persuaded towards ).

Here are some things I would look for:

I typically, not always, buy my penny?s like this. 2 Pennys with pending FDA approval and consistent PR?s updating progress and positively reinforcing a bright future for the company. 1-2 Green Energy stocks , mainly because the government is giving so much aid to Green companies, but also because its the future of our economy and many people believe it will be the light out of this depression. ( I currently hold GERS but it has billions of share at a very low price, which I warn against and do not recommend unless you?re fond of risk ) 1-2 stocks based purely on their charts. 5. Last rule. You must learn to spot fake PR?s or misguiding PR?s. When a company says ? Our stock is estimated price @ 0.32 ? and its current price is 0.012 . Dont fall for that. Typically if a company is telling you what their stock is worth , its because they aren?t happy with its current price and wish it would go up . . . DO NOT oblige them. The Republican-controlled state Senate voted 32-29 late Friday night to bring gay marriage to New York. The vote came after a long, messy week in which the Republicans fretted endlessly about whether Hasidic florists would be forced to provide flowers to gay weddings, but in the end, they came through and actually did something that was cutting edge and at least a little bit brave. Can't remember the last time that happened.

There was that time in 1970 -- I wasn't actually here, but I've been told -- that the lawmakers passed a groundbreaking abortion rights law. The bill seemed doomed to lose on a tie vote in the House until George Michaels, who represented a conservative upstate district, rose and announced, near tears, that he was voting yes. "I realize I am terminating my political career, but I cannot in good conscience sit here and allow my vote to be the one that defeats this bill," he said.

Michaels was right about his political career. It's not really likely anyone in the state Senate will have to make that kind of sacrifice. The public is way ahead of the pols on this one.

But maybe you could argue that the 2011 George Michaels was Senator Roy McDonald of Saratoga, a Republican who was the first to announce that he was changing his vote to "yes."

"Well, fuck it, I don't care what you think. I'm trying to do the right thing," he told reporters. It wasn't "Give me liberty or give me death," but it was very Albany.

For those of us who are older, a lifetime of experience has taught us that gay Americans are our friends, our neighbors, our relatives, and maybe our children. But change has been thwarted by the structure of our politics, which give disproportionate strength to tiny slivers of voters.

We needed some stalwart lawmakers to break the jam. Who would have imagined we'd find them in Albany?

STOCKHOLM ? At the "Egalia" preschool, staff avoid using words like "him" or "her" and address the 33 kids as "friends" rather than girls and boys.

From the color and placement of toys to the choice of books, every detail has been carefully planned to make sure the children don't fall into gender stereotypes.

"Society expects girls to be girlie, nice and pretty and boys to be manly, rough and outgoing," says Jenny Johnsson, a 31-year-old teacher. "Egalia gives them a fantastic opportunity to be whoever they want to be."

The taxpayer-funded preschool which opened last year in the liberal Sodermalm district of Stockholm for kids aged 1 to 6 is among the most radical examples of Sweden's efforts to engineer equality between the sexes from childhood onward.

Breaking down gender roles is a core mission in the national curriculum for preschools, underpinned by the theory that even in highly egalitarian-minded Sweden, society gives boys an unfair edge.

To even things out, many preschools have hired "gender pedagogues" to help staff identify language and behavior that risk reinforcing stereotypes.

Some parents worry things have gone too far. An obsession with obliterating gender roles, they say, could make the children confused and ill-prepared to face the world outside kindergarten.

"Different gender roles aren't problematic as long as they are equally valued," says Tanja Bergkvist, a 37-year-old blogger and a leading voice against what she calls "gender madness" in Sweden.

Those bent on shattering gender roles "say there's a hierarchy where everything that boys do is given higher value, but I wonder who decides that it has higher value," she says. "Why is there higher value in playing with cars?"

At Egalia ? the title connotes "equality" ? boys and girls play together with a toy kitchen, waving plastic utensils and pretending to cook. One boy hides inside the toy stove, his head popping out through a hole.

Lego bricks and other building blocks are intentionally placed next to the kitchen, to make sure the children draw no mental barriers between cooking and construction.

Director Lotta Rajalin notes that Egalia places a special emphasis on fostering an environment tolerant of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender people. From a bookcase, she pulls out a story about two male giraffes who are sad to be childless ? until they come across an abandoned crocodile egg.

Nearly all the children's books deal with homosexual couples, single parents or adopted children. There are no "Snow White," "Cinderella" or other classic fairy tales seen as cementing stereotypes.

Rajalin, 52, says the staff also try to help the children discover new ideas when they play.

"A concrete example could be when they're playing 'house' and the role of the mom already is taken and they start to squabble," she says. "Then we suggest two moms or three moms and so on."

Egalia's methods are controversial; some say they amount to mind control. Rajalin says the staff have received threats from racists apparently upset about the preschool's use of black dolls.

But she says that there's a long waiting list for admission to Egalia, and that only one couple has pulled a child out of the school.

Jukka Korpi, 44, says he and his wife chose Egalia "to give our children all the possibilities based on who they are and not on their gender."

Sweden has promoted women's rights for decades, and more recently was a pioneer among European countries in allowing gay and lesbian couples to legalize their partnerships and adopt children.

Gender studies permeate academic life in Sweden. Bergkvist noted on her blog that the state-funded Swedish Science Council had granted $80,000 for a postdoctoral fellowship aimed at analyzing "the trumpet as a symbol of gender."

Jay Belsky, a child psychologist at the University of California, Davis, said he's not aware of any other school like Egalia, and he questioned whether it was the right way to go.

"The kind of things that boys like to do ? run around and turn sticks into swords ? will soon be disapproved of," he said. "So gender neutrality at its worst is emasculating maleness."

Egalia is unusual even for Sweden. Staff try to shed masculine and feminine references from their speech, including the pronouns him or her ? "han" or "hon" in Swedish. Instead, they've have adopted the genderless "hen," a word that doesn't exist in Swedish but is used in some feminist and gay circles.

"We use the word "Hen" for example when a doctor, police, electrician or plumber or such is coming to the kindergarten," Rajalin says. "We don't know if it's a he or a she so we just say 'Hen is coming around 2 p.m.' Then the children can imagine both a man or a woman. This widens their view."

Egalia doesn't deny the biological differences between boys and girls ? the dolls the children play with are anatomically correct.

What matters is that children understand that their biological differences "don't mean boys and girls have different interests and abilities," Rajalin says. "This is about democracy. About human equality."

Greek debt restructure inevitable: PIMCO's El-Erian (Reuters)

WASHINGTON (Reuters) ? Greece's sovereign debt restructuring is inevitable, PIMCO co-chief investment officer Mohamed El-Erian said on Sunday, warning the nation's problems could "contaminate" Europe.

"It is inevitable that Greece will have to restructure its debt. Europe has been kicking the can down the road, treating Greece's problem not as a solvency issue, but as a liquidity problem," he said on CNN's "Fareed Zakaria GPS" program.

Greece is teetering on the brink of defaulting on its huge public debt. The government is seeking parliamentary approval for an unpopular set of austerity measures demanded by the European Union and International Monetary Fund to release a much-needed 12 billion euro ($17.2 billion) loan tranche.

The Greek parliament is due to vote Wednesday and Thursday on measures that include 6.5 billion euros worth of additional austerity steps for this year and savings of 22 billion euros for 2012-2015 to cut deficits and keep qualifying for EU-IMF aid.

It also speeds up the sale of state assets under a 50 billion euro privatization program.

"Greece has too much debt and cannot grow until these problems are solved. More and more of Europe is going to be contaminated," said El-Erian, who helps to oversee $1.1 trillion in assets at PIMCO, the world's largest bond fund manager.

While the United States' public finances were a bit shaky, El-Erian said the country was fundamentally different from Greece, adding it had much more time to deal with its fiscal policy issues.

"It supplies the dollar as a reserve currency, it supplies the deepest financial markets, which mean that other countries were willing to outsource their savings," he said.

El-Erian said the market has underestimated the impact of the end of the Fed's $600 billion government bond-buying program, which was intended to stimulate the economy by driving down interest rates.

I can eat pasta and other foods that are high in calories or carbohydrates as long as I go to the gym.

Going to the gym does not give you permission to eat just anything. In fact, many people actually gain weight when they start exercising partly because they think that exercising negates the harmful effects of calories and carbohydrates in the foods that they like to eat. However, for a host of reasons, working out does not give you the freedom to eat anything you want.

One reason is simply mathematical: even if you exercise vigorously for an hour, it?s still unlikely that you will burn off more than 800 calories. However, one pasta dish can easily add 1,500 calories to your daily diet ? and that doesn?t even count the bread and drink that might accompany the pasta dish. As such, you will consume more calories than you work off and those extra calories will lead to weight gain. Make a habit to check blood pressure regularly through blood pressure monitor.

If you are working out to reduce your weight and improve your overall health, then you need to also pay attention to the food that you eat. Healthy food for diabetes can not only complement and balanced lifestyle, but it can also make your workout easier and more energetic.
