Dr Weil Footwear Logo

I HATE shoe shopping, because I have huge, wide feet. Even after losing 200 pounds I still can?t find women?s shoes that fit. As a result, I will have to do most of my future shoe shopping online I suppose. This past week my inexpensive cork summer sandals started coming apart ? after wearing them for less than one month. In this case I guess I got what I paid for, although a low price shouldn?t mean low quality. I received a pair of Dr Andrew Weil Integrative Footwear sandals as a gift. I was most curious to see how I?d like them as I was not familiar with the name.

These footbed technologies provide balance and alignment from the ground up, offering:
? Easier movement, improved energy efficiency, less fatigue, improved balance and posture and relief from aches and pains due to over-pronation.

MY THOUGHTS

I received a pair of Journey sandals. While they are sold as men?s sandals, I think they look unisex.

My huge feet in my new sandals.

Dr Weil Shoes On Side

I liked that the sandal has adjustable leather uppers, letting me adjust the fit so that the sandal was most comfortable on my foot. I really like the construction of the shoe. I feel like I have a lot of support under my instep, something I?ve never felt with inexpensive sandals. I also find that my feet aren?t sliding around like they frequently have in inexpensive sandals, I believe this is due to the textured footbed. I feel quite comfortable in these sandals.

If you?re looking for a high quality sandal or have foot problems that cause you discomfort you might be interested in trying out this line of footwear. Dr Weil?s Integrative Footwear is available for purchase online and in select stores, check the product locator to find a store near you.
