Severe Tha Boss, a newcomer hip hop music artist, will release his first hit single, Put ?em Up in September 2012. The said single will be available at over 400 digital retail and mobile outlets around the world.
The music artist, possessing other names such as The Chief Exec, The Vigilante, Tha Boss, and other aliases is currently making a name for himself in the music industry. He met the members of his group, IRS Da Squad in the Westside of Cleveland. They started out huge, but after awhile narrowed it down to two rappers, Severe and long time friend Evan "Cyanide" Doyle.
Severe Tha Boss lived in Cleveland for 13 years, where he was taught the game in the music industry. Later on, he moved to west Michigan where his skills as an Emcee was further honed.
At the age of 11, he was exposed to the world of self-expression and was able to write his first rhyme. From there he learned the art of freestyling and began participating in battles at the age of 12. Being known for his forceful speech delivery, complex rhyme scheme, and live performance, the young rapper was called Severe. He then, cleverly created an acronym for the name S.E.V.E.R.E. which is "showing everlasting versatility every rhyme expressed." His leadership skills amongst his peers gave him the alias, "Tha Boss."
In the year 2005, after graduating high school, he had competed in multiple talent shows and even released CDs selling numerous copies. In 2009, Severe released his first solo project titled "Formal Introduction." On that project there were 2 songs that got radio spins such as "Grippin' The Sheets" and "Aww Snap" which led him to signing with Expat Records in 2011. The succeeding year, the music artist separated from the label due to creative differences and is now a free agent.
With the soaring popularity of Severe Tha Boss, it is expected that hip hop music lovers will get a copy of his new single. As of now, major arrangements and preparations are being done to ascertain the success of the single release.
